The works in the exhibition operate at the boundaries of painting, where unusual geometric shapes and shaped canvases are not merely carriers of meaning, but active shapers of it. The plane ceases to be a neutral surface: the form itself becomes a gesture that evokes the radical turning points of modernism—Kazimir Malevich’s Suprematist abstraction or Frank Stella’s shaped canvases, where the body of the image already enters the space as a statement.
A kiállítás művei a festészet határterületein mozognak, ahol a különleges geometriai formák és a formázott vásznak nem pusztán hordozói, hanem aktív alakítói a jelentésnek. A sík megszűnik semleges felület lenni: a forma maga válik gesztussá, amely a modernizmus radikális fordulópontjait idézi meg – Kazimir Malevics szuprematista absztrakcióját vagy Frank Stella shaped canvas-eit, ahol a kép teste már eleve állításként lép a térbe.
The use of materials consciously turns to nature: special dye plants—chamomile, dandelion, pomegranate—serve as sources of pigment, evoking the centuries-old practice of traditional textile dyeing. This archaic knowledge does not appear as a nostalgic reference, but as a method reinterpreted in a contemporary context, evoking the material approach of arte povera or the organic thinking of Joseph Beuys. The transparency and fragility of plant-based colors convey the experience of transience, while creating a subtle tension with the rationality of geometric composition.
Az anyaghasználat tudatosan fordul a természet felé: különleges festőnövények – kamilla, pitypang, gránátalma – szolgálnak pigmentforrásként, felidézve a tradicionális textilfestés évszázados gyakorlatát. Ez az archaikus tudás nem nosztalgikus idézetként jelenik meg, hanem kortárs kontextusban újraértelmezett módszerként, amely az arte povera anyagszemléletét vagy Joseph Beuys organikus gondolkodását is megidézi. A növényi eredetű színek áttetszősége és törékenysége a mulandóság tapasztalatát hordozza, miközben finom feszültséget teremt a geometrikus szerkesztés racionalitásával.
