in the historical residential area of the famous Raday street 
the gallery builds a space of today’s collectors, curators and creators. 
Heart & Cherry was
founded by Zita Sárvári in 2020
Discovery plays a key role in the gallery’ work: supporting young artists entering the market and introducing artists with Hungarian roots living abroad to the domestic audience.
The gallery’s program focuses primarily on emerging artists whose work combines a respect for traditional genres and art historical trends with a progressive approach to contemporary, global art. Interdisciplinary is an important element of the gallery’s philosophy and operation. We organise our exhibitions with great care and in a concept-driven manner, always taking into account the context of the works and the artists.
HEART & CHERRY offers a platform that appeals to both the audience interested in contemporary art and the new generation of collectors. We boldly take art outside the walls of traditional institutions to atypical venues in order to better engage the audience in contemporary visual art.

A Heart & Cherry Budapest belvárosában, a híres Ráday utca történelmi lakónegyedében található.
A galéria munkájában kiemelt szerepet kap a felfedezés: a fiatal művészek piacra lépésének támogatása, valamint a külföldön élő, magyar gyökerekkel rendelkező alkotók bemutatása a hazai közönségnek.

A galéria programja elsősorban feltörekvő művészekre fókuszál, akiknek munkáiban a hagyományos műfajok és művészettörténeti irányzatok iránti tisztelet a kortárs, globális művészet progresszív szemléletével találkozik. Az interdiszciplinaritás hangsúlyos eleme a galéria gondolkodásának és működésének.
Kiállításainkat nagy odafigyeléssel, koncepcióvezérelt módon szervezzük, mindig figyelembe véve a művek és az alkotók kontextusát.
A HEART & CHERRY olyan platformot kínál, amely egyszerre szól a kortárs művészet iránt érdeklődő közönséghez és a gyűjtők új generációjához. Bátran visszük ki a művészetét a hagyományos intézményrendszerek falain kívüli atipikus helyszínekre is, hogy jobban bevonjuk a közönséget a kortárs képzőművészetbe.

Zita
Zita Sárvári is an art consultant and curator in the creative fields and arts with more than 10 years of experience. In her curatorial work, discovery is important to her, presenting alternatives to the prevailing canon, helping young artists enter the market and introducing artists with Hungarian roots living abroad to the domestic audience.
She develops art collections for those who understand that collecting art is not only a passion, but a social responsibility.
She founded Heart & Cherry as a venture creating new ways to discover and own works from exceptional artists, a perfect entry-level for a new generation of collectors to start their own art collection.
Since 2018 she has been the art advisor for the Fajó Foundation, which was dedicated to preserving and managing the artistic estate of János Fajó.
She edited the book YouHu, a selection of contemporary Hungarian artists with which she realized a long cherished ambition.
