The complex interplay of space and time can be seen in her picture Dreamland. Space is a construction, a function, a virtual formation, a subjective dreamland in photography.

Photogravure (in French héliogravure) is a process for printing photographs. It is a photo-mechanical process whereby a copper plate is grained and then coated with a light-sensitive gelatin tissue which had been exposed to a film positive, and then... etched, resulting in a high quality intaglio plate that can reproduce detailed continuous tones of a photograph. The process was important in 19th-century photography, but by the 20th century was only used by some fine art photographers. By the mid-century it was almost extinct, but has seen a limited revival.READ MORE

Anett Pósalaki

1993

Anett Pósalaki completed her studies in photography at the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design in Budapest in 2016. She currently lives and works in London, where, in addition to her applied practices, she develops her photographic art.

She also has a penchant for altering the image by re-drawing photographic negatives.

In 2021 she was featured in the Fisheye Magazine review book, and her other applied comissions has appeared in places like Document Journal, Vogue Italia, L’Officielle, Harpers Bazaar, Vanity Teen, Fucking Young magazines.
