The anthropomorphism of the Body Schema series invites us to a fluid, emotional and relational self-interpretation of the body, stripping away the constructed layers of socio-political body boundaries that are part of our self-image to reveal a more vulnerable inner core of body image: the intimate 'self' from which we can all draw meaningful knowledge.
He lives and works in Paris and graduated in 2017 with a BA in Fine Art from Central Saint Martins, London. She has exhibited in the UK, France, Morocco, Portugal, Turkey and Australia. His work has been nominated for the MullenLowe NOVA Awards (2017) and The International Takifuji Art Award (2017).
His sculptures are dynamic representations of a body bending in on itself or intertwined with another. His Body Schema series explores the psychological and social aspects of body image, self-understanding and identity formation. His sculptures carry transformation in themselves, while reflecting on issues of sexuality, identity, fragility, power and social change through them.
